so funny

well since my last blog was kind of a downer.. here is a more cheerful note. Laynie is a crack up, everyday she makes me laugh. I am so blessed that she is my daughter.
Daddy: "Laynie how did you get so cute?"
Laynie: " I dunno"
Daddy: "It must be from mommys genes"
Laynie: " Daddy your so crazy mommy cant fit in my jeans!"


The other one that totally cracked me up, I have been starting to put laynie & peyton in the bath together and peyton has a little peeing problem when the water hits. Laynie asks me "How come every time peyton gets in the bath water comes out of his bummy?
It was so hard to keep a straight face because she looked so interested.

gotta love it, I have to write these down so I dont forget them.

Realizations....

Well since it has been a few weeks since I posted I figured I was due.. but since things have been crazy busy lately I have noticed a few things..

Taking kids under the age of 4 to the mall is just straight CRAZINESS! and cause to get kicked out of certain stores and get mean looks from people who have no idea what you are going through!

It is next to impossible to work, be a good wife and mother and keep the house clean and try to plan a bridal shower and make a wedding video for my sister along with invitations!!

Staying out till 4am when you have 2 small children is not the smartest thing to do because no matter what you NEVER can catch up on sleep.

No matter how many episodes of Big Brother I TIVO I can never make enough time to watch them all

Somedays running away from home doesnt seem like a half bad idea.

No matter how many points I count and exercise I do I cant make this last 20 pounds go away over night

The best thing at the end of the day is just watching my kids fall asleep and realizing how cute they are and wishing that they would never grow up.

I love my husband way more than he realizes.

BUT MOST OF ALL.. it the little things in life that make me the happiest.. like having little Peyton fall asleep on me <3

Jacks Mannequin & Paramore

Well for those that have known me for some time know that I LOVE concerts! (especially punk stuff) but not hardcore stuff. So since my hubby and I havent been on a date in what seems like forever I bought us tickets to go to the Paramore and Jacks Mannequin show at the Henderson Pavillion tues night. I LOVE Jacks Mannequin so that was awesome and Paramore was really fun too, other than it was so HOT outside, I thought I was going to die.I was actually pretty surprised at how good our seats were since I bought them on such late notice. My lil sister Haley and her boyfriend came too which was more fun because I had someone to dance with! Im glad that I dont look my age or I swear people would have been looking at me like I was the oldest person there :)

Real men wear leopard

You really do have to love a man that can wear leopard and smile! He is a man after my own heart because I LOVE leopard print. He was just so lively in it that I had to take tons of pics.

Here is my little man the next day with no leopard print and he is totally crashed out. I love this little guy he is getting so fun when is smiling all the time and he can roll over both ways. I never thought having a boy would be this fun.

Happy 4th!

Here are just a few pics of our 4th of July. It was nice to have a day off from work to just swim and have a bbq with family. Peyton loved the fireworks.. Laynie not so much, she liked them from a distance. She was calling them fire candles which i thought was kind of funny. Overall it was a nice HOT holiday and a pretty fun weekend. I just went back to work last week so it was also good to not have to put in a full week right when I came back. It was so hard to leave my babies but I just have to keep telling myself that its only for a few hours a day. I think lately Im just having a hard time adjusting to normal life. My hormones are still all crazy so I find myself on edge a lot and just kind of cranky. Having babies is not only hard on my body but I think its hard on me emmotionally. I look a what a beautiful baby boy I was blessed with and know that eventually things will get back to normal and that having him was so worth it. :)

Happy Birthday old lady!

Well yesterday was one of my best friends birthdays!! so HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARA CECIL! I hope you didnt think that I forgot, I just didnt get a chance to get on here yesterday because I was trying to get everything together so that I could go back to work today :( I hope you had a fun day, love ya!!
