Ok so here a just a few pics that my wonderful friend Sara took of my little man when he was about a month old. These are some of my favorite ones! He is getting so big and its hard to think that he is already 10 weeks old. Time flies when you are having fun. He is smiling all the time and make those cute little noises. This also mean that I am on my last week of maternity leave :). It will be good to go back because I always have fun at work and I miss my co-workers but NOTHING can take the place of being home with my babies. I know it will be hard for me to go back but I know it will ease the burden a little bit for my husband with the economy being the way that it is. I guess that saying holds true "The Lord never said it would be easy he just said it would be worth it."
** Oh yeah I also forgot if you are interested in hosting a candle party in July just let me know.. the host incentive is the best one I have seen all year!! There are so many good summer scents out right now as well!

What a fun day

Yesterday was such a fun day!! I have been a stay at home mom for the last 2 months so the rare times that I get out to do something I always enjoy. I went to lunch with my hubby and then Jana I have been planning to go shopping for what seems like forever... and we finally went. For those who know me.. you know some of my favorite places are victorias secret and the MAC store so we went to both! I worked at Vickies for awhile so its always fun to go back in there but I dont miss working there. Vickies was having a sale so it was even better and I have tons of makeup already.. but its one of those things that you can never have ENOUGH of. It was just nice to get out and spend some time with a good friend and no kids. I love my kids but sometimes you just need a break. I have to enjoy the 2 weeks I have left before its back to work for me.

Happy Anniversary

Well I have been meaning to do this flashback friday thing so how fitting was it that this sunday is my 6 year anniversary. The past 6 years have flown by and they have been the best years of my whole life. My wonderful husband bought me a spa package for mothers day so I went today and I had a lot of time to relax and think about what I wanted to say.
Just a little background on how we met in case you didnt know. We met on LDS Singles in the end of 2001. Matt has just moved to vegas from North Cali and I was going to UNLV full time. We met in person in Jan 2002 and from that day on we spent every day together. We got engaged on valentines day and we were married on June 8, 2002 in the Las Vegas Nevada temple. That time was also one of the happiest and saddest in my husbands life as well. My inlaws were in town for the wedding and my father in law is a severe diabetic and we were going on our honeymoon to LA to go knotts berry farm and my father in law had a meeting that he would be going to in LA before heading back to Stockton. Two days after our wedding on our honeymoon my husband got a call that his father had a stroke and was on life support. We were able to be at the hospital with him in about 10 minutes and my husband signed the papers for life or death brain surgery for his father. This part seems like a blur to me but the one thing I do know as that the lord was looking out for us this day. Who would have known that we would be in the same city with his dad when he would need us the most because everyone else was a few hours away. My father in law pulled through it and he is still with us. Every year since that happened we have always tried to make up for it by taking a vacation but this year we cant since we just had a baby. I realized that is not what is important, what is important is that we have each other and the love that we share.
To my Hubby,
Before I met you I had always wondered when I would find the person I was going to share my life with, have kids with and grow old with. I wondered what they would be like, if I could be myself around them, would they live the gospel and would we last through eternity. I met you and all my expectations came true. Immediatly I could be myself around you. You get me like no else does. You understand my dry weird sense of humor, you dont take my sarcasm seriously, you always put me before yourself, and you love me for who I am and never asked me to change. I knew you where the one for me because whenever Im not with you I am thinking about you, and sometimes I wonder if I love you more than I love myself. You are my best friend and the light of my life. I hope you know that you have my heart now and forever. Love you Mandy <3

Lake Time Finally

So I finally got to go out on the lake on Monday!! We went with some friends and it was super fun, it was not to hot and the lake was like glass, and not crowded. Kim and I had fun listening to some crazy music from our single days :). They did some wake boarding and cliff jumping but I did not go swimming because the water was freezing cold!! So I was the only one that stayed in the boat. I left the kiddos with my parents because we were going to be out late so it was nice to just get away for awhile. Our boat has a few electrical problems but we always have a fun time. Maybe one day we will get a nice Malibu that I am always jealous of when Im out there! Well here are some of the pics :)
